Kanye west has raised the upper uglies yet again.
Last night at the BET Honors award, Kanye a recipient of an award came up stage to describe the humbling way he felt of how people who truly knew him came up to describe him.
He said " I understand maybe that for the first time how it is to feel humble"
The designer producer had just watched a video package in which those who knew Kanye well sang him praise.
Kanye however didn't stay humble for too long.
The Rapper( he is many things on this blog damn.) wanted to focus on the idea of love and not separation.
In response to those who had criticized him and Kim for being an example of a white woman and a rich black man getting together, Kanye had a humorous response.
'I want to say that my wife has dated broke black dudes. So it ain't got nothing to do with the money,' he said as Kim laughed from the audience.
He closed by saying " African Americans do not have oil and therefore the money that comes with it, but do have a substitute- Our oil is our expression, its our influence. Dont ever let them take that away"
She may have looked a bit mortified at Kanye's 'broke black dudes' comments, but Kim was otherwise very supportive of her husband and his award.
Kim said she is proud of her husband and all he has achieved so far saying #myheartsmilesforhim#
