RED CARPET RISK THAT DIDN'T PAY OFF

Its that time of the year again..
The Academy award 2015 red carpet stunners...
However having the right army of help doesn't guarantee one to be able to pull up the best look to any function.

Here are the disasters or rather the near miss at event.

From Lady Gaga - who is renowned for her bizarre fashion choices - in three custom-made ensembles by Azzedine Alaïa, who has never before designed for the Oscars, to the usually stylish Solange Knowles, who turned up appearing as though she was wearing the red carpet in a crimson Christian Siriano design, there were a few A-listers not looking their best.

We think it's fair to say this showstopping look from Felicity Jones will go down in Oscar fashion history!

Her stunning gown is by Alexander McQueen, the same label the Duchess of Cambridge chose for her wedding dress, who are known for their fairytale worthy creations.

Sarah Burton is now at the helm of the design house and she's done a stellar job in creating a custom gown for Felicity fit for all the glitz and glamour of the Oscars.

So what lands a celebrity on the Oscars worst-dressed list? It doesn't necessarily have to mean an ugly gown.

Unflattering silhouettes, lackluster outfits and dresses that wear the celebrity rather than the other way around...

Lady Gaga's space age outfit - including a crocodile scale-like textured frock with a full skirt, large gaping sleeves and bright red gloves that look better suited to washing the dishes - was meant to be reminiscent of old Hollywood, and took a huge team of 25 people an incredible two weeks to make.

Solange Knowles, who was a special guest DJ at the official Governors Ball After Party, failed to impress in a crimson wide-leg pant and high-neck frock by Christian Siriano.
